140s ???

Hello, I just ran across a 140S that an old neighbor has. It starts up easily and runs great..... has a 16 inch bar and chain..... are these saws any good and how old are they....??
The ole timer is asking 100 bucks.... thanx wizz:

I'd class it as a collectors item, as I believe you could run into trouble, trying to get parts for it.....

kThanx for the information.... Maybe i will throw 50 bucks at him and see if he goes for it...... Sont want to pay for something that wont be running in a few weeks... and cant find parts... thanx again for ur time....
