15w40 Vs 5w40? I plan on running my 4012 all winter

Okay truth be told I meant to put 15w40 but bought 5w40 and realized my error post oil change. It's a 4012 stump grinder 44hp.

Highest temp I'll see between now and the next oil change is 60 degrees. It's only getting colder in New England so the question is run it in the winter with 5w40 or switch it out?
 
I've always run Rotella 5w40. Been using it for 10+ years.
Run it year round. Same as 15w40 other than its synthetic and has much better cold properties. And even still it's like pouring molasses at -20*.

We run 0w40 in the woods equipment.
 
Personally, I'd run it, unless the manual specifically calls for 15-40 in all weather.

Should be a little easier to crank, and perform the same at operating temperature.
