16” or 18” bar more reasonable on MS261c when converting to 3/8” chain?

The mastermind ported 261 pulls the 18 inch 3/8 .050 with ease with stihl RS chain. Not all ported saws are equal and have never felt that I needed to drop down to .325 even buried in oak.

I run 16 inch bars on everything.
Im short, there's always brush and crap in the way when im cutting trees down and my log pile is on stickers so I dont cut on the ground. I have no use for longer bars.

Well after a bunch of internal debate, here is where I have landed for a 3-saw battery:

Small Saw - MS180 with TsuMura 14” bar 3/8lp .050 chain

Medium Saw - MS261c with 18” TsuMura light bar .325 .063 chain

Big Saw - MS462c with 24” TsuMura light bar 3/8 .063 chain
