170 floating sprocket

If you put a worn out/stretched old chain on a new sprocket,
it will be hard on the new sprocket and damage it.

I'm not going back to pico. I will try the drum and sprocket on my 034 on it and see what happens. If its acceptable I will get another one for the 170.
Will the 034 drum fit on the 170..?

I run a ms170 16 inch bar and 7 tooth floating rim sproket cutting hard wood and it works great no problem at all.
