194t 16 inch light bar and mods

Does the stihl or orgen make a light bar for the 194t on stihl website it says it’s compatible 12 to 16 inch bars but can’t seem to find the right one for mine and what is orgens lightest bar they all seem to claim some sort of lighter weight looking at all of them.
on another note does anyone have a good recommendation on someone who can port my saws in willing to ship them just don’t know who and is there any after market mods for the 194t such as a muffler or bark box.
Thank you for your time I’m new and trying to learn and figure out as much as I can.
 
Stihl makes a light weight bar for those. I haven't experienced using them although I have 1 waiting for the right saw at the right time .
I have wrecked so many of the Oregon picco bars in short order normal use I am not about to buy any for personal use unless dirt cheap. I have consistently been happy with Stihl bars for decades. Looking to try Tsumura on my small Echo.
I am not the modding expert. Usually I open the muffler outlet to about 75 percent the exhaust outlet from the cylinder then adjust the carburetor to compensate for the increase in air flow. Most saws gain a significant amount of power just doing that. You will need to have an adjustable carb and likely have to remove limiter caps . Should be able to Google how to do that to your model saw.
 
Yes they make light bars in 12-16 for a 194. In .050 and also in .043 gauge. I'd get the .043 if I was you, especially now that you can buy the chains in full chisel.

A muffler mod works well on the 194, but you need to cut through the baffle for it to be most effective. You need to cut the limit tabs on the carb screws and a few degrees of timing advance also helps.

Thank you for reply and advice no one around here or that I know runs other bars I only really see professionals use them I was thinking of a speed cut nano bar but almost feel like that would Ben for go to crap on me same with me I’ve had great experience with stihl bars crap even holzforma bars yes I know they are off brand but it came with my g444 and the weight is decent with a 24 on it and the bar has held up to what I’ve done with it even fractured my l2 lumbar so I use it almost like a cane to stand up and when I bought my 194t it came from another tree company and the guy said it was bored is there anyway I would know how it is I’m guessing I’d have to open it up and look at the ports but thank you for your advice I appreciate it

Thank you buy chance would you know the part numbers for those and do they .43 in skip chain or .50 in skip chain I’m tired of using still safety chains they don’t seem to cut as fast as others like there non safety chains and wanna try them in not a newbie when it comes to saws just a newbie when it comes to like looking into them and understanding everything about them I’m 17 and have been running saws since I was 10 so I got my fair share of experience and am smart when I got saw so I would definitely like some skip chain I cut through a lot of maple and cotton mood and boxselder so I figured it would be nice and thank you for the advice on the mods I’ll have to look into it and get a little hands on with it I see i appreciate it

You don't want a skip chain on a top handle saw, and I'm far from the safety police...it's not a good idea. Go to your stihl dealer to get a part number and/or order it. I don't have the numbers for all the bar lengths.

Why’s it not a good idea if I may ask too much of a risk to hurt yourself or what I’m guessing so with a top handle since it isn’t as heavy and most of the time your sticking out away from yourself so you don’t have as much control as a rear handle persay? Or is that wrong? And will do thankfully I got 2 of em so I got options I appreciate your advice

well you cant bore a plated cylinder - might be a china big bore kit but I wouldn't use one on mine, it's a clam so squish has to stay stock- mine I did the muffler and ajusted the carb to suite- pretty good gains

well you cant bore a plated cylinder - might be a china big bore kit but I wouldn't use one on mine, it's a clam so squish has to stay stock- mine I did the muffler and adjusted the carb to suite- pretty good gains
Sorry I ported not bored my auto correct changed it and I have been planning on it like the guy above said and would you say to do the same with what he said or would you have a different way to modify the muffler

don't really remember, a while back- just don't get too carried away, too much and you will loose power they do need a bit of back pressure
