found this ad in a 1950 Popular Science magazine.... looks like a 77cc model 325
At $295 USD (1950 dollars) this would translate to approx $3850 USD in 2024 dollars per online inflation calculators

And people today think $295. Is way too expensive for a chain saw.
Power equipment is the least profitable item compared to what it takes to design, manufacture and assemble for what it is sold for imo.
