I have a 1991 Husqvarna Model 55 (Non Air Injection) which I am Fairly Certain has a AM Muffler as there are No OEM Part Numbers Stamped into the Muffler. I have been trying to Seperate the what looks Like 2 Halves of this Muffler but it wont Come Apart & I don't want to Destroy it by Prying it apart. Where to Muffler Bolts go Through the Muffler to Mount to the Exhaust Appears to have to Metal Tubes that I assume Support th Muffler Bolts as they Go Through the Muffler before Threading Into the Cylinder. On the Outside of the Muffler (Exhaust Outlet Side) it appears that these 2 Muffler Support Tubes are Flanged or Flared over Slightly and seem to be Covering the Muffler Slightly on the Indents on the Muffler where the Bolts go Through these Tubes. Has anyone run into this with AM Mufflers before and is these a Way to Separate these Mufflers without Destroying them, Mayme Drill the Muffler Support Tubes with a Drill Bit to Remove to Little Flanges?
