1993 Bandit 200+ hydraulic pump?

I have a 1993 Bandit 200+ chipper with hydraulic feed and 12" disc.. It has 4cyl john deere diesel motor.. My hydraulic pump casing snapped the mounting ears off so it needs to be replaced.. It is belt fed by the disc and says it is a Cross motor model 5z420.. I cant find the serial number anywhere on my chipper does anyone know what hydraulic pump I need or can use for this application? Cross no longer makes this motor..

Hi Don,

The hydraulic pump might be proprietary to Bandit. Usually Bandit serial numbers can be found on the belt guard or below the radiator.

Call Bandit and have them send you a "build sheet" on your chipper. It will have the hydro motor model # and maybe even the serial #.
Send me a pic of yours, I think I have an old one I can compare it to.

take the pump to Motion Industries or similar company and they can match it to another pump. Don't let the dealer steal you blind.
