Me too. These ones are better, they screw in like a regular cap the flippy part is just to hold on to.

NICE.... the Stihls at work... we curse them quite often for having those caps... grrrr too much engineering!!!

to hell with you mesupra. i got some money burning a hole in my pocket right now but i must resist. gonna run the 346 til it dies before i buy another small saw. i think anyways

Those 550xps really accelerate huh? They go from zero to 60 in ... a fraction of a second! I think the "Rev Boost" feature might be responsible for the 550's performance.
They really do remind me of an "open-wheel racing car." Also appreciate the virtual absence of fumes. Mosquitoes gonna like these new saws!
