2016 Carlton 7015 Kohler - Engine Pulley Spindle

Folks, I am working on replacing the engine pulley spindle. I can't seem to pull the back plate from the engine in order to be able to replace the drive spindle. Do any of you have recommendations? Thanks in advance!! - Myrtle Beach

Also I will add that I have removed all bolts surrounding the plate. There is also a gasket seal around the plate. I suppose that there are bolt holes used with threaded rod to push back the plate? -- Ill call the factory on Monday...The tech support at Carlton is fantastic!
