261 cm Muffler mod

I just purchased a new ms261 cm. I've been searching this and other sites for muffler mod advise but find conflicting (and confusing) opinions. Seems that the mufflers may have changed over the years. Help with the current 261 cm is what I am looking for. Pictures and directions from beginning to end would be great.

I believe Gordy of west coast saw has a video on YouTube showing the installation of one of his exhaust ports on a 261. I’ll see if I can find it really quick.

If you are gonna buy a Rivnut setting tool, buy the Harbor Freight Doyle tool. It costs less than the Astro (I have that one as well) and comes with an assortment of both metric and SAE nutserts and you can buy them at any industrial supply house like Grainger. I use them constantly on sheet metal parts versus resistance welded studs. Amazon has them as well but who makes them is always questionable.
