Bought a sugihara 36" for my 880 .. have been through 2 tips so far - just blew up.
So go easy on them, and grease often.
Have never had a tip problem with any Stihl, Oregon bar.
Have some Sugihara 3/8's .063's for my 460's and 660 ..no problems with them and they do more hours than the 880.

I’ve got a Tsumura 28” on my MS460 and a 32” on my 064 and so far I really like them both. The 064 balances a lot better with the Tsumura than with the Forester bar it used to have.

Why do you think you were blowing out tips with the 880? Are you running 063 and have correct tip, I think they have an 058 which is used with 050 & then they have an 063. You running .404 or 3/8? Bore cutting? Sugi tips 'should' last a long time under normal use, wonder why your having such bad luck.
