3/8" chain on Husky 346XP?

The Husky 346XP normally uses a .325 chain. Is there any reason it can't be outfitted with a 3/8" chain (while also changing the drive and bar nose sprockets)?

I was told you can do this ,as I inquired about my 346,but there is more power to be obtained from the saw with the.325 chain.I wanted to have the same chain on all my saws,thats what made me ask in the first place.

I run my 346 on 3/8 now .You have to change the sprocket rim,chain and bar or bar nose depending of the blade you use.

I run 3/8 chain on all my small saws, 346,260 Stihl, 5000 redmax.

I haven't found 3/8 to work so great on small saws, it slows throttle response and cutting times. I save the 3/8 for saws around 50cc and bigger.
