I have seen a lot of thread about double tying into the spar and a lot about adjustable lanyards and what not. is there anyone out there that has used a 3 strand adjustable (by prussik) lanyard and had a real bad issue with it. I really like them and just purchased another one. I get the point of having the adjustability(if that is a word) at your hip...but if you are used to one thing and it works...is there a reason to change?

If your talking about buckstrap style like above I have used one as my second lanyard when I need one, the only draw back I can think of is the adjustability suffers some at times when its adjusted to where the prussic is against the trunk. It can get to be a real PITA compared to a good flip line with a rope grab on it.
