330EVL primary setting

Greetings, What is the primary carb. setting for the Echo 330EVL.
I found the parts to repair this little one. When last I ran it I remember fuel pooling in the engine. Thanks Richard

Richard, the service manual for that saw says to start with both screws one turn out.

Thanks Mark, That sounds right. When this ,my limbing saw, went out of action [broke a recoil spring] I had to limb with the 034, a bit heavy for that job. Now I think I'll keep the MS 200T [the most recent acquisition] and let the Echo go, once I get it running. Thanks again, its always good to hear from you. Richard

I knew that scanning that Echo dealer set would be helpful sometime

Probably a good little saw but I don't remember messing with the little Echos much just the midsized and larger. There sure put together well.

You're right they are good saws. Some guys have a whole slew of them. Years ago a friend brought it with him when he came over and gave it to me. It was dull as a hammer but ran like a top. Once sharpened, it eat wood and has for about 20 years.
