I rec'd a response to an e-mail from Husqvarna that the 338xp is available in the US. Didn't say anything about the 339? Have any of you dealers heard of this?

Got another reply from them, said the 338 and 334 are being marketed at this time.

338 - 38CC displacement - 2.2 horsepower - 7.6 lbs.
334 - 34CC 2.0 7.5
These units are almost identical to 335 but have a primer bulb and the
338 has a decompression valve.

The 338 also has a magnesium crankcase. I tried to talk my dealer in to letting me run one against a MS 200. He ignored me. He actually prefers Stihls. He is quite excited about the new saws.He said he is going to order more.
