Just like the title says, I have a 346xp oe that I got from nmurph. It is mechanically sound but is no beauty queen. Saw still looks the same and has little run time since the initial purchase. If you are seriously interested in this saw, I will take some new pictures. $250 plus shipping and ill include a 16" bar and chain with the sale.

Quoted so as not to plagiarize - these are Neil's words

"Compression is 155psi
It is muffler modded
It has an unlimited coil
It has a new carb kit
It cranks, idles, revs, and oils as it should"

"There's no 346 decal...I know... but it's important that you don't mix this saw up with your 290
It has a helicoil in one movement limiter
The clutch cover has lost some paint
The muffler studs have been slotted for removal with a straight screwdriver
It had a small piece broken out of the upper rear corner of the crankcase...repaired (I've done quite a few of like this and never had one fail)...it seals the carb box well"

If it runs like my 346 I got from Neal, you'll love it. In fact it is so strong I'm beginning to think its an NE. When I get back to Vermont, I'm going to measure the bore just to satisfy my curiousity.

The OE's are really strong, fast cutters. NE as a bit more torque, OE as more rpm.
