Hey what's up with this hole in my cover, should I use my saw with it open or closed.Maybe some type of adapter for the winter.

I looked at my other 357xp and it doesn't have one. If the Walkers is a freak with no hole my guess is it's a collectors item.

Fooled by what??? I didn't take a picture of the Walkers..... thats from the Dan Henry 357xp....
Your right it is the same cover one shot open the other closed.

Marky,

Supposed to open the little door in the winter and keep it closed in the warmer months. Can't say that I've ever noticed that much of a difference with my saws.

Hey, and stop trying to make Brian look paranoid.:D ;)

you are right this is to alloy warm air in from around the cylinder head in to the carb. so it does not frost up, on the cold days,

had to flip mine over, but i was about to throw my saw to the ground the damm thing would not start with out the choke on my arm was killing me, and the crane operator was geting pissed of as well, till my buddy reminded me to flip it over.

It was damm cold these coupple of days -15 - 20 c sorry i dont no (F) .

lawmart
play safe
