My 372 leaks a substantial amount when I fill it up. It looks like it's coming from the tank vent at the upper right side of the tank. Is this common and how do you replace the vent? It seems kind of hard to get to. It also will stop if I crack open the cap again after fill-up.

I would just ignore this, but it has left one too many fuel slicks on an unsuspecting homeowner's driveway. Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys.

I think I might have solved my own problem. I took apart the tank assembly and noticed that the vent is missing. Is the vent just a little round plug that fits into that hole? Just need to get the part and pop it in, right?

There is a Vent Pt#5018731-01 and a Filter Plug Pt#5036004-01 on that saw. From what you describe about a substantial amount of fuel, I would say that you are missing both. Here is an IPL for your saw.
