I have a 6 month old 372xp. I was out on Saturday with it and it started just fine, once it got warm it didn't want to stay running. I stopped it, checked gas and bar oil any all was good however it would not restart. Finished with my old saw, tried starting the saw when I got home at it fired right up. I have not made any type of adjustments to the 372xp. Any idea on wht might be going on?

Hmm,looks like ignition OR vapor lock. But 372 are not really prone to vapor lock since they have a rubber intake. If you want to be sure its vapor lock, when she stops and dont want to start, put a bit of gas in the spark hole and crank the saw after reinstalling the plug.If she wont start after few pulls, then probably the ignition is done.

First check it

pull the plug / put plug back into the plug holder

lay it up against the metal part of the saw and pull a couple times -- see spark it is not ignition .

Might be a two person job to do right, but not hard just need more than two arms most the time.

Did you try to open the fuel cap, and then close it again?????

- it could be a blocked tank vent, in addition to the other suggestions.....
