I have used them for the last 2 years and never had a problem with them- 372 & 390 xp's- made in Taiwan- mainland china stuff is junk (imo)and wom't use any of their cranks or topends

You might price out a short block vs buying all the individual parts. Husky often sells these reasonably.

It's a lovely saw dont spoil it with second rate parts. It can be so tempting to add cheap Chinese parts but all you end up with is a Chinese saw in the end.
