When i wanted an unlimited coil I just put the limited blue coil from my 346xp on my 372 that coil is limited at 14100 and my 372 will never rev that high.

I prefer the blue coils myself, even if they're the 13k coils. They seem to have a better ignition curve.

What's ur method of tune with the limited coils. I usually sink the saw in wood while cutting I adjust to max power and then give it an 1/8 turn more. But that's by ear. Do u have a better method. I wld like to hear it?

That's pretty much how you have to do it.

I like the blue coils but use the black ones for the saws I sell. I buy they from ebay. It's not to hard to find them for $15-20 plus shipping.

The 372xp XT (365XT with the transfers done) i bought recently from a member here on the trader had a muff mod and a blue coil from a 346xp. She cuts real nice! Noticeable better torque in the cut and better throttle response.
