394 Muffler Mod. Pics.

Just wanted to post a few pictures of my most recent muffler job. I purchased a used 394 a while back and it had a modded muffler on it. I just got another used muffler and did my own modifications today....with the help of our toolroom welder.

That looks professional. How did you fabricate the deflector? I'm asking because I need to make a smaller version of your deflector for my Dolmar saw

Looks like a very good job she should be breathing a whole lot better now..

RayIN, its a stock deflector off from another muffler.

Magnum, haven't had a chance to cut anything with it yet...but the saw does seem much more responsive when you hit the throttle.

I agree with Russ you may want to think about doing mods for everyone,they look great and I'm sure work excellent as well.

Russ, thanks for the compliment. Unfortunately they couldn't afford to have me do it.....way too slow and meticulous. I'd have to charge about a buck eighty hr. to make it fair for the customers. LOL

Still working long hours? How's the clean up going in that area? Most of the major clean up is done around here.
