Hi guys,i got a 395 and it literally fills with gas while it sits,if i turn it upside down it will start flowing out of the carb, i noticed some parts of the tank vent assembly are missing, would this cause pressure in the tank and make the gas go in the carb and then the cylinder? Thx

Probably your carb- they should hold 15 pounds through gas inlet and I would fix your tank vent- they are desighned to hold pressure- gas and let air pass into the tank - one way valve tube- some have a puck filter and newer have a green elbow with a line on it- it does sound like you have 2 problems
Its got the elbow line, what could be wrong with the carb tho? It floods like crazy there's gas everywhere

maybe your needle vave leaks or your diphram is not set right, I pressure check all my carbs before using- just take the miivac and pump positive pressur ito the carb inlet- and if its dropping- well needs attention- diaphram- gasket first diapham second- 2 different types of buttons on diaphrams- on has a plain buuton and the other hooks onto the arm
