Want to Buy 42" bar for 750 Homie

Picked up a sweet 50" Homelite bar while PH was out with MM Randy, unfortunately I had no way to confirm mount so while it props up against the wall nice, as it turns out the 50 doesn't fit the saw.

She's currently wearing the 36 that came with the saw, and I'd like to swap that out for a 42.

Rather look here for a good to new condition bar first, but I'm open to discussion on what options I have.

Wow. A Mooberized 750 must sound awesome. I have a 450 & 550 and thought they sounded good. I'd love to hear that old girl sing! I'm running a Husqvarna mount bar on the 450 with minor grinding to accomadate the big studs. Less than ideal if your seeking a nice restoration. But a solid option for a usable bar. If you have a vid of this saw running please send us a link.

Right? I'm planning on tearing into some 30" Ash this week and was hoping to get some tape. It'll be my first go with this saw, so I'm just as stoked as you guys!

Ideally, in thinking more about it I think I'd prefer a 48 or 50" 040 .063 roller nose bar. I wouldn't pass up a 42 roller though.

I have this 50" NOS never used large mount hardnose, white with HOMELITE in red I'd swap or throw in the pot for a 48 or 50 roller in good used to new condition. http://www.arboristsite.com/community/threads/50-homelite-bar-and-chain-nos.252443/

I can send pics of my bar to anyone interested, and will dimension the business end of the bar tomorrow so y'all have a better understanding of the mount size.

Still looking for a 48" +/- roller or sprocket nose bar, NOS or like new good used.

My 50" bar sold this morning.

I've got a 50" Mac bar, but it's not a roller nose. I also have a 58" roller nose Mac bar. They aren't really that nice looking, but good useable bars. I don't know what the Homelite mount looks like?

Hiya Clint. Yeah I'm not sure what the mount is either. Had planned on tracing it superimposed over the largemount bar that just went out this afternoon but just never found the time. I won't be able to get back to that saw until next week to take the bar off and dimension it. I think it was the cannon bar site that identified its' mount but I can't remember.

There've been a couple interesting bars on e-bay but I'd rather buy here and keep it in the family so to say.
