I have a 1 year old 435 husqvarna saw. Use it all year on farm. Light and easy to handle are its +. Engine went to going lean after first year and adjusted carb. slightly richer solved problem. But got much much worse as time went on to where saw would die then restart easily. First replaced plug, then carb with new one.
Same problem. Then intake boot. Same problem, then tore all the way down, thorough inspection for cracks, installed new crank seals both sides and then the lower jug seals. Same problem. Does anyone have any ideas. used all husqvarna parts. Coil puts out nice sharp hot spark. I know engines, but this has me stumped for the time being???

Does the saw stall when you tilt it forward with the bar pointing down? If it does, you need to back off on the L screw. If the saw idles when it's tilted forward try adjusting the L screw out until it starts to bog down, but not enough to kill it.

I'll give it a try. Right now I have it clamped in a vice flat. It runs and idles for about 1-2 minute then will just stall. Starts right back up, then only runs for a few seconds until backing out the L 1/2 turn. Then I can run it about 30 45 seconds reving it up and letting it idle combination with no problem, then stall. Open L another 1/2 or more and the process begins again until finally it will just start and stall. once it cools down i can start it but have to run in the L screw for it to run properly. Then the same process starts again. ??????
