460 BB fitment issues...

Didn't they supply a bigger gasket? sure hope things don't go clunk. ping, bang when things expand with heat.

You can always do a squish test. To see if piston will bottom out.

Mark, Im still waiting on the tank housing, should be in tomorrow.

Manual, its not an issue with the top of the piston hitting the top of the jug, it was the skirts hitting the gasket, not allowing it to go all the way down on the down stroke.

I'm pretty sure my BB kit came with a gasket....

I have not tried to install it yet, but I will check the kit and let you know.

I'd really like to find an 044 and make the 046 BB kit fit on it! That would be a sweet little woods/cheater saw. Would be fun to carry around the woods with it being as light as the 044's are.
