490 Johnny coil gap

I tried Mike Acres site and that information is blank. The 49sp is .012, so should I go about the same?

Air gap between ignition module and flywheel magnets should be .012 - .016"
according to the intertec service manual.

Thanks, Ray. I think I am set too wide. I just cleaned up/fixed up this saw and I can get it to fire, but the spark isn't too sharp. I figured I would set the proper gap(I used a piece of cardboard from an oil filter) and see if it improves. Otherwise, I am probably stuck for another coil.
