EFCO 952 muffler mod pipe diameter??

Hey guys hows it been goin? Does anyone have any expierience doing a muff mod with efco chainsaws? I am trying to do a efco 952 but can't decide on pipe diameter. The 80-85% thing I'm not sure about since it already appears to be that coming out of the exhaust now. So I wanna close them off and re-route the exhaust via a steel tube out the front. What would be a good diameter for this saw. (removal of baffle also.)

Yes I appreciate that little note, but I am looking for specifics for a Efco 952.
That saw doesn't get much publicity around here I noticed. Nothing efco does. If anyone has ever messed with them ole' efco/john deere/cub cadet saws, please help!
