So I got a 572 last weekend and have ran about 5 tanks through it, there was definitely a point where it “woke up” but after switching back and forth between the two, the 562 cuts a lot faster I was wondering if this was normal because I would’ve expected to 572 to cut quicker or is it’s main benefit having more torque to pull a longer bar and the 562 is more of a top end hp type saw? 24 in on 572 and 20 in on 562
8t on the 62, 7t on the 72?

I used the 2100cd husky with the 24” bar on bigger oaks. I guess these would be second growth timber.
I try to leave the white oaks now the deer prefer the acorns.

I have to add my 👍 for the 562.
I got it to replace my old Jonsy 2171; both with 20" bars and sure as stink it is a faster saw.
I was cutting mostly hemlock and white pine so that's a different test than in white oak.

My experience cutting with the two, side by side, and at one point with the same bar and chain, was the 562 is as fast or faster than the 572 at 24" and under bar, buried or not, in Doug Fir.

There's no way a 562 pulls a 28" as well as a 572, stock.

I'd take the 372 over the 572 any day for weight and pep. Have thought about doing a trade in in the future.

That seems to make sense, I’m kind of shocked that it pulls a 24 inch bar as fast. I just put the full wrap and bigger dogs on today and it is very heavy, 572 will strictly be for felling and bucking bigger wood and the 562 for everything else. It cuts better and is lighter. It’s a great two saw setup but if I could only have one saw I would’ve gone with the 462 or 500 from the rip because they are powerful enough and light enough to do it all.

Haha, I told my friend who was helping me take the trees down I was gonna sell the 562 earlier in the day, couple hours go by and I pinch the bar on 572 and because of how much was cut wedges couldn’t be hit in deep enough without hitting the bar so I had to cut a piece off with the other saw, needless to say, that made my mind up right then and there that two saws is a must
