Here is the lowers before.
That was a lot of grinding! I feel your pain! LOL
Ya! Got a headache now! LOL. Definitely lots of room for improvement on this kit. MCW says they run good with no mods, so I'm hoping for much more.
There wasn't much room to widen the ex, as you can see from my marks, I think .065 on one side and .095 on the other, the intake had a bit over .100 on both sides.
Have you got silver hair and grey teeth yet from all the dust Will?
A little is better than none. . . Should be a good running work saw.
Looking good Will. I'm even checking this thread on my phone while sitting on a hill in the middle of nowhere just so I can get reception
P.S. Tip for the HD filter kit is to leave the felt pre filter off. It is quite simply a chip magnet.
Nice!
thanks for the tip!
Now what if it were a chic magnet?
Geezuz Will...that is one ugly saw.
Looks good, nice and even side to side, not easy to work up in there.
Have you looked at matching the lower transfers to the case, often there is quite a missmatch going on in that area.
The black cover looks way better.
Great thread BTW lots of good info.
Now what if it were a chic magnet?
Well if it was a chick magnet I'd have left all 3 on and be in all sorts of trouble! Trust me mate, that felt pre filter is a waste of space and not once have I thought it is a good idea.
Now back to that video
