I got the 650BB that was auctioned on AS the other day. I must say when I opened the box, I was surprised. I got a new saw! I have been curoius as ever about these big bores and really wanteds one but had decided I would just buy a 660 and have it built instead of buying a new p&c for a new saw. Since the saw arrived ahead of the bar I grabbed my 36in bar and a ship chain (wp) and stuck it on. There is a birch tree that blew down last winter on a frieds farm. plenty of 36in plus wood.

THe saw starts great. I was surprised it starts better than my 440 WHS 2T mod. I took it easy on the fisrt couple cuts. After she was warm I laid into a 36 in chunk, sunk the dogs mid cut and tried to bog it. It chainged pitch and through the chips but kept on a cuttin! I wish I had run a stock 660. All I can say is my 650BB rocks. I am super happy with the way she runs.

Blocked some 20" hickory tonight with the 20 bar. All I can say is I am eager to get the 9 pin this saw will be all over it. Thanks for the top notch saws Dean, I really enjoy showing people how fast and fun a saw can be. Someday I may go on vacation with a saw and meat Dean. Till then keep the Good machines comin. Thanks!
