Late Black Friday early Christmas sale:). Makita (dolmar) 7900, like new, ran non ethanol and Baileys full synthetic 2 cycle oil, probably 6-7 tanks. Has a mild muffler mod, just another outlet added to front of muffler, inside of muffler is still stock. Really like this saw, great torque/power, smooth, easy to start, usually starts in 2 pulls cold, one if I can push choke in fast enough. But got spoiled with auto tune, I change elevation a lot and kinda ocd about the tune being perfect. Power head only, price includes shipping to lower 48. $660 , only trade I would consider would be a 572 Husqvarna.F3E16B51-DA7B-458A-9496-F982C33BF88F.jpeg8A8F8791-654C-416B-8CF7-646175E4239E.jpeg E03E7CBC-4251-48BE-954B-E70A264028F1.jpeg1A6557D0-AF99-4E5F-820A-535ECE0B9A99.jpeg 93DF4050-DFC1-4D4C-ADBD-F8D02AD0908F.jpegD9A4FBFB-995A-4AD6-B480-2161C39FF68A.jpeg 4F01AAEC-2C83-40D1-9E2F-6C8D7368504D.jpeg547BB74A-2875-4686-B69C-DD9050F54A07.jpeg

I just got the 6100, and love it to pieces! Can imagine this one is just as sweet.
A 6100 has great power for a 60cc saw, the 7900/7910 feels way better in hand to me, because of that I've never bought one. I do however have 5 or 6 running 7900/7910 and 2 parts saws if that tells you how I feel about them :).

Will this comfortable run a 3/8 pitch full skip on a 28” bar? Lets say hardwood?

Probably pushing it a bit eh?

Swing by and run one, I have a large elm log here you can put one in.
I normally run them with a 24 or a 20, but they have no problem with a 28 full comp chain, but not with an 8 pin(funny story).
Here's a 28 on one of my stockers, this was taken this spring, just dropped the tree for a client and cut the top off the driveway.
