920 Piston interchangability

Do they interchange with any other model(maybe Husky?) I think I can salvage the cylinder, but the piston is toast. I am sure that is the most common part that is needed, so maybe I am just plain out of luck. Thanks.

I am thinking that this will take awhile. Looks like I have to find a used 920 piston.

If there is a Husky piston that will fit, it would probably have to be a 288xp one (the only one with the same bore and stroke), but the part numbers are different ......

Maybe some help can be had at Simonian's?

I already e-mailed him. I haven't heard back, yet. He is a busy man, so sometimes it takes awhile.

I am figuring that it will be a difficult search.

I tried the implement in Red Wing, MN and he said he has lots of parts for other Jonsered's but not for the 920 because that is what people need(piston and cylinder) most.


Rod told me to ask George about the 288xp interchangability. So I will check that out, too.
