Hey Guys just want to say im new to this site But i got a question how much do you think i can sale my 94 Morbark model 13 its got the 300 straight 6 in it This thing runs Really good i just upgrate to a brush bandit 250XP

Kevin, it's on CL. I believe it is painted all black.

To the original poster, you called me a few weeks back (looking for a morbark/brush bandit chipper). Small world.

I would look at it, but the 300 6 has me thinking it would have no torque/power and would hog the gas.

Years Ago i had a bc1250 and it had a 300 i think in it and i gotta say that was a good little machine it would chip 12 inch if it had to and by no means does it compare to a bandit model 200 and up. but it was a very reliable motor cheap and easy to get parts for NAPA had everything for it. and i dont know why but it always started even on the coldest mornings i would have kept it as a backup if someone didnt t-bone it and total it.

Exactly. My woodchuck wc-17 has the Ford 300 straight six. It's a dandy powerplant and since I had the carb rebuilt it does nice on fuel and power. It was rebuilt with brass floats which according to the mech will make a big difference in the long run, I guess the others were swelling and getting hung up, even after a rebuild, so we went with brass.

As far as power, it does fairly well I think. It's no diesel, but often when I think I'm going to need to back it off and let the RPM's build it just digs in and eats.

Welcome to the site, Cutler, I'd say 5500 anyway, maybe more if you clean it up a bit. It is, after all, a Mobark, and I imagine that parts and service are still available without too much trouble.

Yea Its a great running chipper and its got newer paint its All Grey i just dont need it anymore And the inline 6 is a great engine and its not hard on gas at all
