I've been sorta like a kid in a candy store for the last week and a half.....

Started off getting the NE 346xp (love it, already want another one).

Then added a new amsteel blue whoopie sling adjustable from 13" dia to 56" dia, and the big steel porta-wrap (should have bought one sooner).

Next we got offered a MS200t w/ less than 100 hours for $250. Cant pass that up.....

Then Sunday my partner ran into a fair condition 019T for $60, can't pass that up either.....

And finally today I ran by Vermeer to get a couple trimsaw clips, and ended up getting The Art & Science of Practical Rigging, and On Rope, too.

Now I just need to quit buyin little stuff, and save up a bit for the GRCS. Well, after I get a speedline kit set up, and buy a few new ropes, anyway....

He's talking about whoopie and loopies made out of amsteel blue.

The ones that have been around for awhile are made of tenex. Newb.

Yup, thanks.

The amsteel is a bit more expensive, but one sling will work for almost any tree. With the texex it would take 2 or 3 slings to cover the entire adjustment range. It's also very small and light compared to tenex, with a much higher tensile strenght/wll.
