Got a little wood yesterday. Used the 660 and the new cant hook on some oak and ponderosa pine. Now I need a bigger truck.

Even got the wife to handle a saw. She does me proud.

Forgot the Craftsman!

Nice pics and nice family! Any additions to the "Royal Family" planned?

Notice my little girl weilding the Craftsman! Guess I better add that one to the signature line. Not sure how to put it in - Craftsman battery powered? Running "round" chain...

You better call it: "When My All Else Fails Saw". She looks like she's ready to start cuttin!

Yeah, my little girl means business. I've never gone in for the "round" chain on her saw - slows the cutting times down. :hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

If we could just get Craftsman to put some good square ground chisel chain on that saw it would be great for limbing. Weighs in at just under a pound and sports a 7" bar (5.5" if you factor in the extra large dogs!) With a saw like that in the family, I might think twice the next time I pick up the 200T.

Hail to the Craftsman with the extra large dawgs! :hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

Does the specs say it'll pull a square chisel .325 or .375, are you shure about the weight, sounds a couple grs. too heavy according to the specs.:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange: :ices_rofl:
just trying to get a rise out of someone here, guess who?

Ohhh Mr. Troll...where are you Mr. Troll??? We need to know if this Craftsman will pull this square chisel chain?

I like the Hudson Bay axe your son is shouldering. I bought mine when I wasn't much older then him and I still carry it most times I go into the woods.

If you've never swung one, don't underestimate that little axe...They can do a day's work!

my helper

here is my helper, she's a good helper, even got her to use the saw a couple times, pay no attention the pull-ons on the 4x4, they have been replaced with real saws.
she is even willing to split wood. (for a little while anyway)

Yeah, my dad gave my little boy three of those Hudson Bay axes about a year ago. He swings those things better than most boys swing a bat and does a lot of my kindling for me. I'm so proud of him. He's only 5 and a half years old and still has all his toes ;) . I think the inlaws are ready to turn me in to the child protection folks but they'd never understand how much joy it brings him. He cut down two fire killed trees yesterday with that one in the picture and was talking about the experience the whole way home. The memories are priceless. None of his friends at school even know what an axe is, let alone a Hudson Bay axe.
