Very nice looking pair. Do you need my address now to ship that one with the wrap handle to?

No.

Those look too good to use, they should be put in a display case and admired as art.

One is mostly going to be mostly just for that. The full wrap saw.

Great work. A little bit of history right there.

It is to me thats why one is going to be on my shelf.

To all the rest, thanks for the compliments

procarbine2k1, I would love to bring one over for you to try. They run really strong. I don't own any chaps though.

You turd. No really :hmm3grin2orange:. It just so happens that I got a pair of chaps for Christmas, so looks like were all set. May just have to get that man eatin' 090 of mine out for the special occasion haha. And besides, since the cutting would be on my grounds, we could just wear flip flops and shorts (may have to wait on better weather).

I couldn't resist. Funny how I can remember some things but not most. :help:

Let me know when, and I'll see if any of the green junks will run at that time. :hmm3grin2orange:

Oh well it was worth a try. Those are some nice looking saws. I would have a hard time running them too.

Very, very nice Mark! I tore mine down today, getting ready for paint.

BTW, what size tap did you have to use for your custom fuel fitting? Is it 5/16-24?

Yes, 5/16 fine thread. That's 24 right? I'm haveing CRS right now. LOL

Those things work great.

Here is what I hooked the fuel line up to on the full wrap saw.

I needed one carb and got lucky to find this NOS one.

I did notice that Poulan still list the original fuel line for these saws and curious, I had Melvyn order me in a couple. There the original thin wall style, 3/16ID x 1/4OD but they must have been in the system and on the shelf since 1985. Pretty stiff to me. Maybe I'll sell em for big dollars as NOS 5200 fuel lines on Ebay. LOL

Brad, I used a 3/16ID x 5/16" OD on the carb side and a 1/8ID x 3/16OD on the tank side.

I used a small piece of teflon tape on the threads of the new fitting.

Also check the barb, the knot or whatever you want to call it on the 1/8 side of that fitting, I had to turn the end down just a hair as it was a little big and didn't want to fit through the 5/16" hole with the line on it.

They sure do look good, makes me wanna keep mine...but i really dont need 2 saws and im sure the other guy will appreciate them.

Awesome job on the saws Mark!! They look to darn nice to use now. ;) I sure hope a couple of them are able to make the next Poulan GTG, whenever that is..LOL
Thanks to your work, we can see what the older Poulans looked like when new!

Unlike mine, that looks like it was drug behind a dump truck for a month.:dizzy:
The 5200's are quickly moving up my list of favorite saws.
Gregg,
