Abandoned Brand?

I have run the old cast saws and the new saws, David Bradley, homelite, lombard, macs, but these days and times Husky and Stihl; wouldn't turn down any saw to run. I just like to be in the bush, running a saw. If I was buying a new saw I would like to try the big Dolmars. My next saw may be one. I do my own repair work so dealers aren't that big of a deal. It is kind of fun going in to my Stihl dealer and chewing the fat once in a while though.opcorn:

started with rejected by somebody else muc a a lucks. bought two husky. then bought a couple sthils and never looked at any other saw brand. my new last fall stihl ms 260 pro with 24" bar and full skip non safety chain :hmm3grin2orange: :yoyo: !

Impartial

I'd have to say I was impartial to Stihl, but after running husky's, stihl's, and now a Dolmar, I'd guess I'd hate to have to make a choice. I like'em all to be honest. In the 6 hp range I'd take my 7900 over anything out there, 5hp I like my 044, the 7+hp range I like the 066, or the older 56Mag's, for smaller saws I kinda like the husky's. 357xp, 266xp, 372xp, all are good saws. My buddy used to be die hard Stihl, then he went die hard husky, now he's run my 7900 for a couple days and he's trading in his husky's for a Dolmar. I had always sworn by stihl, but after running the newer ones I've been disappointed. They aren't like the older ones, I've got heavy hands and like to push the saw more than most... The one and only brand I will NOT ever buy is Jonsered. I refuse to pay a ton more for a red and black husky. There's no reason for it. I'd say that's the only saw I wouldn't ever even think about buying and feel bad for anyone wasting their money on a husky with different plastic(NEW). It's like buying a hummer H2, you might as well buy a tahoe, same frame, just different panels...

I paid for a few husky saws,2 new 1 used. Had several old brands,stihl , before , during ,and after, 1 was new. I like and trust stihl the most. I like the old Sachs Dolmars, (haven't had the new) I don't trust huskies from my experiance with them. They are fine to use as long as it is not my money maintaining them.
