When was the last time anyone had ordered the colored tenex, how long was the wait? I just ordered some this evening, hadn't seen this link yet.
By the way, anyone else tried nicks loopie false crotch yet. How is it, i think i'll have to make one.

Same here but they should have blue 3/8 and 5/8 and black 1/4 in now.

After I ordered, i recieved an email, letting me know what colors they had available immediately. So what I don't get my pick of colors. I'll just be happy to get the rope in a timely manner.

Treejunkie- I would call arborist places? Are you dealing with sailnet? The colored coating helps with chafe and UV protection, as well as line ID. If it's not colored, check that it still has the coating on it (clear, of course). Aerial equipment always has some Yalex or Tenex on hand, as does sherrill. Give them a call and they should be able to help you right away.

anyone ever tried Nerex?

Nick,
I went through SEAMAR. Thankfully they did have the tenex coated, just not in the colors i wanted. But, stilll coated. I checked into Aerial Equip. online. but i guess i'll need to call them to see what they have, the website doesn't show much.
How much was the shackle you placed on the woopie? Is it swiveling?

Watch the cost of these ropes from arborist supply...I've been charged over $2.00/ft for 5/8 tenex b4. I won't mention what company, but I called and asked for it w/o asking price figuring I was safe. I was has by price gouging and was not happy. Seamar has great prices on tenex.

I've heard a number of posts that were reluctant to name names in such siteations... What better place than here to share that kind of info. There is power in #s and why would you want your friends to be had too.

That is one great thing about AS and Sherrill's special relationship... If someone here has a problem with Sherrill and they say so, Sherrill gets right on it and fixes it fast. Speaks a lot for their commitment to customer service and allows them to get direct and straight feedback from their customers.. They can read all about our needs and concerns and take action to give us what we need so we can continue to patronize them.

ITS GREAT!!!!!!!

So who was it that beat you up on the tenex???

The shackle was about 25.00 at West Marine. You can get them at bosunsupplies.com I don't have the redirect with me now- it's in the truck at work. I think it's a non-swiveler.
