Your equipment looks good Arbor pro! Very sharp. How does that mini skid set up work out? That whole thing is str8 up custom right? I remember seeing a thread when I first came here I think U just had your trucks done up. Here are pictures of my truck and a job sign. The truck is a much more basic design but I get alot of compliments and I like it alot myself. The job sign I dont care for. I went with one color because of the cost of multi color signs. They cost alot more. I never got a final approval on the signs and they just printed em. I think the company name isnt centered up right. I also think that the tree looks like a "mushroom cloud" at first glance until u get good and close.Thats not the printer guys fault though..needs to be brown n green!(the tree). I have mixed feelings about the mushroom cloud effect........I also have a magnet on the back of my chipper that looks basically the same as side of truck.
Here is one of my yard signs I have two. I dont use them on all my jobs and I pick them up after 2-4 days. They were 30 apiece and that is for both sides. I thought that was cheap, they get cheaper the more you get. I had to get my new mini in there too!
I tend to agree about the shadowing or out lining but i was (still am LOL) on a tight budget so thats what I went with. All in all I think its a huge bang for the buck. I love the mini set up. Thats just plain sweet. I have filed that image away in my head for future referance! A mini is def on my list although sometimes I have a hard time picturing it. MEANING...if u u moving brush with it with a grapple, then that means the brush is "sideways" in front of the mini. Most of the backyards I am in dont have that kinda room to come through. Unless I cut it shorter, then it takes longer to feed. So...i know its a great tool but i seem to have a mental block on how to use it. I have a similar block with a chipper winch. Will a mini lift up decent size rounds into a normal hieght dump truck? I hope I am not derailing this thread, I guess I could start a new one.I think both look good. I think the sign is bold and catches your attention. I personally like 2-color graphics on trucks so think your truck would look all the better with a shadow or outline color to go with the blue but, as a whole, I think it looks professional and clean and that's what counts so, nicely done!
As for my truck - the mini skid carry platform works great on the chip truck. Love the setup. Really slick way to haul the mini - especially if you don't have much use for the man cab. That custom platform installation cost me about $2k plus another $1k for dual buyer toolboxes and another $500 for paint. All together about $3500 to replace the mancab with the platform and ramps. I think it was well worth it and am hoping to buy a similar truck this year and set it up with the same platform but turn the chip box into an open dump box for logs - that or just buy a cab and chassis and build the platform and dump box from scratch.
Whatever you do brother, don't spell things wrong on your "Advertizing" however you decide to do it. Highly unprofessional, and just makes you look like a total ass.
