I asked the guy at the hardware store today what chain he made for my saw. He said it was a #62, fast cut????? Does that sound right? If so, is this the chain I need? If not, let me know whats best and thats what I'll buy next.

The saw wasn't ready today. He put the carburetor assembly/manifold on it but hadn't had the time to get it tuned up. Hopefully I can pick it up tomorrow. Once again, I'll post after its done.

Let me know about the chain. Thanks, Greg

I'll get better information on the chain and see if its a good choice or if there is another out there that you would recommend. Thanks, Greg

I bet it is a 62DL windsor non-safety chain in semi-chisel. Great for a 3/8LP chain.

Only chainsaw you will miss is the one you let get away.

which reminds me, for $20 I could've picked up a homelite 150 that looked hardly used. That's another story. The poulan will serve a very good purpose...... as a back up for when your good saw has problems. Then you will become popular with the neighbors.

.....and no, when you buy the nice saw, don't borrow it out to nobody.
