Just wondering the Pros and Cons of these lifts. Never had the chance to fly one and will be in the market for one (used) in the year. It would be a forestry unit not the rear mount. Thanks

I used one at my old job. A nice unit. Easy to maintain. Had the 3 lever system. I have a pistol grip on my new bucket. So much nicer. You only need one hand to move the bucket and you can take a hand saw and prune suckers etc as you move.....

Mikecutstrees did you ever find that the boom out the back of the truck causes any issues. It seems to hang out a lot further than other aerial makes.

great units 65 footers are kinda scary lotsa flex easy to maneuver just wished they could flip over both ways.... if i was to buy one I would def go with aloc or altec

The ALOC I used to drie was a pain for sicking out. It was a rear mount and I almost backed the bucket into a tree. It also hung off the front which you had to remember pulling up to a building too. Nice truck though... Mike

Do all ALOC buckets have cables? and if they do, when do they need replacing and what is the cost. I know the cables for altec LR3's can be 3 or 5 year replacement. Thanks again
