Hi, I own an ALTEC DC1419 woodchipper. I am having some major feeding issues w/ this unit.
I shut off the electronic feed control to "OFF" so that the feed rollers would just spin 100% without any electronic control. However, they bind up with almost any amount of resistance. Even hand feeding smaller branches causes them to stop spinning. I'm running the machine at almost full throttle.
Hydraulic fluid is 100% clear & filter is a Donaldson (1 month old).
Any suggestions where to start looking? I have a service manual but it's absolutely terrible.
Thank You!
