Altec Upper Controls

I have a mid 90's model bucket truck. Altec AA-600 and the upper controls on the boom are much slower that the controls on the pedestal. Some days are faster than others but its a considerable amount of difference. Any ideas on a fix?

Look around the lower controls and see if there is a metering block for the upper controls. Mine has a pedestal where the lower controls are and if you open the door under the pedestal you can see the metering block for the upper controls. This is where you'd adjust the flow to the upper controls.
