i want the smaller climbing lines but i was wondering if i have to run it through a friction saver i never noticed my blue streak getting messed up from it

and is poision ivy and bluemoon the same rope dif color and supplier?

Ive been climbing on Blue Moon the last six months and haven't used a friction saver or had any problems.

Poison Ivy and Blue Moon are the same rope. They are both made by Yale, but Sherrill Tree exclusively owns the name and colors to Poison Ivy.

i know abunch of guys that climb on the IVY how do you like the blue moon and what set up you running on it

are the smaller lines really worth it if you dont use mechanical devices

I climb on a distel and sometimes just a blaze. I haven't tried any mechanical devices on it though.

I find Blue moon has a softer grip, in case you like a stiff rope I find Samson Velocity is more tightly braided.
