Im wanting to buy an american chestnut tree to plant 4' or bigger any idea where i can buy one online it seems after doing some searches i cant find anything so hoping someone here might know thanks!

My state (wv) has an annual tree sale and they had smaller ac whips a few years ago, so you might check your state and see if they do a similar spring sale and get put on their mailing list. They vary the choices yearly and I get lots of nice trees at very good prices that way.
Just making sure: Are you aware that the trees will eventually succumb to blight? I plant ac to keep them going, but I keep that in mind when I place them.
There is a foundation working on resistant stock but the test seed isn't available to public yet.
