Another Asplund chipper question

I hope someone can help,
I'm working on a old Asplund chipper with the 300cid ford motor. And need to know the clearance between the blades and bedknife. This is the drum type chipper with 4 blades. Just put a set of freshly sharpen blades and it will not pull the brush into the drum.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

About 60 thou .060

I thought that would be tight enough
But i don't have a book or manual.

I set mine to click when you turn the belt by hand and then back it off. Make sure your strike plate is not frozen up. It has to give a little so you can get bigger butts into the knives.

Manual calls for .030 and it makes nice size chips at that setting
