Here is the only saw that I have restored so far.

Thanks,..its the first one I have actually put my hands on, good thing its all there and it runs. It was kept in the woodworking shop of a local waterpowered sawmill, I know the original owner and all the history on the saw from when it was bought, when it was used and the stories of how slow it cut.
 
I have the chance to get some mac 2 man saws in a trade. The guy says they run n work. What would be a good price to pay for one in average cond ?
 
I went to see a 7-55 not far from here last year.

In very nice condition, but close examination showed missing/wrong parts.

Wouldn't fire and seller wanted $600.

The prices on those old two man saws are all over the page from free to several thousand dollars. Best you can do is reach a price the both of you can live with, if its too high for you then just say thanks but no thanks.
