When you bought a new Stihl in Australia back in the 60's and early 70's these fuel cans where part of the package, were they available in the US as well ?

I found this in a shed. It survived hurricane sandy on long beach island nj. Its presumably still in that shed. Not siezed but I was drinking so it was no time for disassembly. The heaviest damned saw I ever held.

Looks like a 24 by 2 cyl if the top is round not flat , the big poulan two mans used the 24 by 1 , they were flatThat's a cylinder for one of the early large industrial Homelite engines used on gensets, water pumps, and the like. Big sucker.
